BNPC attended a kgotla meeting in Damochojena on the 10th August 2016 as part of public awareness on BNPC services and work ethic. This was in collaboration with Office of the District Commissioner and Tribal Administration. Kgosi Kebalepile of Damochojen welcomed all who attended the meeting where services were brought closer to the public. BNPC services were presented and training calendar, magazines and work ethics posters and stickers were given to the members of the public as well as various Government departments who were represented at the meeting.

Later during the Day there was a community service day which involved all who attended the kgotla meeting in bush clearing along the main road entering the village. The objective of the community service day was to keep the village clean as the village prepares to celebrate 50 years of Botswana's Independence. The service was led by Kgosi Kebalepile and his dikgosana. BNPC was represented in this community service.

Kgosi Boima of Mmadikola welcomed all who attended the meeting where services were brought closer to the public. BNPC services were presented and training calendar, magazines and work ethics posters and stickers were given to the members of the public as well as various Government departments who were represented at the meeting.

BNPC as the main stake holder in productivity issues was invited by Bokamoso Hospital to its wellnesday ,to share its services and its approach to wellness at workplace, we were expected to pitch up a stall and share our services to the general public in relation to the theme which was " Workplace stress a collective challenge to all." Mr. Mosweu & Mr. Motlaloso were manning the BNPC stall, The main question was what is BNPC doing to address the Wellness and productivity challenges in Botswana,we referred the stall VIP visitors to our productivity magazines where we have an article about Absenteeism by Ludo Tebape as an example to the many, as we all know productivity issues are very diverse , we also talked about our own internal arrangement model which we believe if all cooperates can follow can really help, BNPC MAGAZINES, ANNUAL REPORT AND OTHERS were also shared to the public

Village Health committee which BNPC is part of, organized clean up campaigns as a way of insuring that the environment that we operate from is clean and free from potential health risk that may come out of dirty environment, it is also of great importance for us to prepare a clean area for Independence celebration as Botswana will be turning 50 years, the cleanup campaign are going to continue even beyond the independence celebration.

"On Thursday 14th July 2016 BNPC participated during the Cultural Day hosted by Selibe Phikwe and Bobobong Region at Selibe Phikwe Education Centre. The objective of the event was to revive culture in order to raise the level of productivity in the work place. BNPC was represented by Mr. O. Lesole who delivered the message on how Cultural Revival is very critical is improving good work ethic in this country and pointed out that BNPC was excited in participating in these kind of events since Selibe Phikwe/Bobonong region will partner with BNPC in sensitizing Batswana about poor work ethic since it is the number one problem in this country. On behalf of BNPC Mr O. Lesole appealed to families, churches, Dikgosi, Political leadership, Education leadership and fellow citizens to deliver this important message of good work ethic to everyone to change their mind set in order to attract investors to this beautiful nation."

BNPC participated in this year's Serowe District Show where public awareness of BNPC services, training calendar, magazines and work ehics posters and stickers were displayed at BNPC stall for the members of the public. The guest of honor was his Honour the Vice president of the Republic of Botswana Mr. M. Masisi. The theme for the show was "Agriculture the Driving Force Behind Food Security".

Launch of LETHOGWA TRUST - SHOSHONG VILLAGE: 14 July 2016 at Shoshong Senior Secondary School

"Lethogwa Trust is a newly formed trust comprising of the following villages: Mmutlane, Mosolotshane, Ikongwe, Kodibeleng, Mokgenene, Poloka, Dibete, Shoshong, Moralane, Mokgenene and Kalamare. The launch was attended by community leaders from the 11 Lesoso villages. Stakeholders: Dikgosi, Honourable Councilors ,VDC Chairpersons, VDC Secretaries. The trust works in collaboration with Mahalapye Sub District Technical Advisory Committee and sponsored by UNDP. The main focus of the trust is to identify and make an audit of various natural resources, the physical heritage such us places of scenic beauty and palaentological sites including places of cultural significance in the Lesoso area. The results of the above resource and audit has yielded a positive resource diversity which can enhance the economic livelihoods of the 11 villages constituting Lesoso The diverse resources can subsequently create permanent employment and generate local income for each village hence subsequently reduce rural poverty. Botswana National Productivity Centre (BNPC) made a presentation on services provided by the Centre, work ethic and how the trust can partner with BNPC going forward. Debswana corporates services was represented by Ms Pitlagano who made a key note address"
