RESOURCE CENTRE / LIBRARY
Introduction
The RC is situated on the first floor of the BNPC building adjacent to Block 1, established in 1993, the BNPC has a Resource Centre with a comprehensive collection of books, journals, newspapers, audio-visual tapes and CD-ROMs on productivity, quality and management related subject areas. The collection is intended to assist both, the BNPC core business and stakeholders achieve the productivity movement call.
1. Resource Centre Services
The Resource Centre offers services to BNPC staff and to external members at minimal cost as categorized below
- Individuals
- Corporations
- Consultants
These services include:
- Circulation (i.e., Books, CDs & DVD loaning)
- On-line-public catalogue
- Photocopying
- Scanning of materials
- A current awareness service
- Internet access
2. Membership fees
2.1 Membership is open to all at the following annual service fees:
- Individual - P100.00 (borrowing privileges limited to 4 books only)
- Corporate - P500.00 (borrowing privileges limited to 8 items)
- Consultant - P1000.00 (borrowing privileges limited to 10 items)
2.2 Termination of membership
There will be no refunds made for membership termination before the expiry of the 12 months subscription period.
Charges for other services
Additional charges, are made for services such as photocopying, scanning, and internet access to our clientele. The charges are subject to review from time to time. Currently the charges are as follows:
- Photocopying
- Non - members - P1.75 per page (A4)
- Members - P1.00 per page (A4)
- Copying from RC materials - P1.00 per page (both members and non-members)
